Taxes are due every year October 1. Taxes can be paid between October 1 and December 31 without penalty. Taxes become delinquent after December 31. Any unpaid taxes are assessed fees and 1% interest per month beginning in January of each calendar year. All unpaid property is sold at auction in April or May to the highest bidder. The property is sold with a three year “Right of Redemption”. Personal property has no right of redemption.

This gives you the ability to pay your property taxes at your convenience, anytime day or night; the convenience of paying from your home, work, or anywhere that you have access to the internet. The online option gives you the opportunity to pay your taxes securely using a check, credit card, or debit card. A transaction fee of 3% with a $3.50 minimum will be assessed. The maximum fee for online check is $5.00. This is not a fee charged by the Revenue Commissioner’s Office; it is charged by IMS Enterprises as a convenience fee.
